What is MCP?

Model Context Protocol — an open standard that lets an AI client call external tools. Cliro implements the server side, so any compatible client can read your visibility data without a custom integration.

Which clients can connect?

Anything that supports MCP: ChatGPT, Claude, n8n, Cursor and agents you build yourself. The protocol is the contract, so new clients work without changes on our side.

Can it change things in my account?

The server is read-only by default. It answers questions about your data; it does not create brands, edit prompts or publish content.

Which plans include MCP?

MCP integration is included from the Business plan up, and the Enterprise plan adds full MCP access. Check the pricing page for the exact limits per plan.

When should I use the API instead?

Use MCP when a human or an agent is asking questions in natural language. Use the REST API when you are building a product surface or a pipeline that needs deterministic calls.

How is access controlled?

Each server URL is scoped to one workspace and authenticated with a key you can rotate or revoke from Cliro at any time.
