Pricing questions
Trials, limits, billing and what happens when you outgrow a plan.
Is there a free plan?
Yes, and it does not expire. The Free plan costs $0 per month and includes 1 tracked website, 5 custom prompts, 50 responses per month, 1 site audit and 1 white-label report — across all 7 AI engines, same as every paid plan. It does not include the content agent, API access or CMS integrations.
How is the free trial different from the Free plan?
They are two different things. The Free plan is free forever with the limits above. The 7-day trial sits on top of a paid plan: you pick Professional, Business or Scale and get it in full for 7 days. Checkout asks for a card, but nothing is charged until the trial ends, so cancelling before day 7 costs you nothing.
What is the difference between monthly and annual billing?
Annual billing is 20% cheaper: Professional works out to $71 per month, Business to $191 and Scale to $396, charged once a year. Your usage limits still reset every month either way.
When do my monthly limits reset?
Responses, AI referrals and crawler logs reset once a month, on the same day of the month your billing period started. Annual plans reset monthly too — paying yearly does not mean one yearly pool of usage.
What happens if I hit a limit?
Nothing gets billed to you by surprise: Cliro does not charge overages. The action that hit the cap stops until the next monthly reset, and you can either move up a plan or add an add-on that tops up just that limit. If you are unsure which fits, talk to us.
Do cheaper plans track fewer AI engines?
No. All 7 engines — ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, Google AI Mode and Microsoft Copilot — are included in every plan, and in the trial. Plans differ in volume (websites, prompts, responses) and in features like the content agent, API access or white-label, never in engine coverage.
Do white-label reports cost extra?
No, they are part of the plan, but not of every plan: Professional does not include them, Business includes 1 per month, Scale includes 5, and Enterprise is custom.
Can I change plans or cancel later?
Yes, at any time, from your billing settings. Upgrading raises your limits right away; cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the period you already paid for runs out.
